Family Law - Children
Ellison Moschella & Co takes its role as
legal representative of a parent very seriously.
Given that the Family Law Act requires parents to exercise parental
responsibility and requires the Court to determine what is in each child’s best
interests, Ellison Moschella & Co offers representation that reflects those
values.
We will advise you how the Court will work out
what is best for each child and how the Court may structure its orders to ensure
that those interests are protected and promoted.
We will then assist you in attaining those goals
by the most reasonably practicable and economical means possible with a view to
conserving what could be rapidly depleting financial reserves.
With this in mind, we can assist clients in
considering:
-
Their children’s long-term care, welfare and development
-
Where the children should reside
-
The extent and type of contact the non-residence parent should have
-
Specific issues such as those relating to health, education, surname and other specific
issues.
We assist clients in reaching agreements for
the sake of their children by way of negotiation, round-table conference, mediation
and, as a last resort, litigation in the courts.
